Owner - Field Supervisor
Don is one of the founding partners of J.C. Donald Company. Since starting the company in the early 1980s, he's established J.C. Donald Company as one of the most respected design-build firms on the Cape. Over the years, Don has fostered exceptionally productive relationships with the Cape's best building professionals. As a result, J.C. Donald Company network of skilled subcontractors and tradespeople are able to deliver topnotch work on time and on budget. Don, a graduate of the Wentworth Institute of Technology, worked in the construction industry in Boston.
Don is educated and is a certified specialist for detailed design & solutions for Livable Homes for Aging In Place
Don has overseen the building and remodeling of hundreds of homes on the Cape. Don currently holds licenses as a construction supervisor and Home Improvement Contractor Registration.
Richard Dadoly
Designer/Estimator
After working in the design and construction industry - as both a designer and estimator - for 25 years, Rich joined the firm in 2017. Rich is the firm's principal designer. His previous experience in the construction side of the design-build industry allows Rich to fully understand how his designs will translate into a finished home, creating a seamless process and superior finished project for the clients of J.C. Donald Company, as well as generating estimates and ordering major materials.
As a designer and CAD drafter, Richy prepares both preliminary and fully detailed construction plans for our projects. Rich is also a talented artist and creates beautiful 3D renderings that can provide invaluable assistance in the permitting process when zoning and other special approvals are required. They also help homeowners by establishing a clearer vision of what their finished home will look like on completion.
Ted Robertson
Project Manager
Prior to joining J.C. Donald in June of 2022, Ted worked in the building industry for 5 years. Ted graduated from Colorado State University Fort Collins, with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Ted's experience in the homebuilding industry, and his exceptional ability to communicate with our clients and other building professionals, have proven invaluable in his position at J.C. Donald Company. Ted's responsibilities include meeting with prospective clients and working with our existing clients throughout the building process, as well as generating estimates and ordering major materials.
Tammy Taylor
Construction Coordinator & Office Manager
Tammy began working in the assessing, appraising and construction industry since 1987. Her lengthy tenure in the industry has allowed Tammy to gain a wide knowledge of all phases of construction. Her primary focus at J.C. Donald Company is to make certain that all the firm's clients feel at ease during the building process by keeping the lines of communication open. In addition to assisting with permitting and pre-construction planning, Tammy coordinates the selection of cabinetry, fixtures, flooring, etc. Tammy is a great liaison between clients and the teams who are Working in the field during the construction phase. Tammy also manages the daily administrative duties within the office.
Kim Svenningsen
Office Assistant and Finance Manager
Kim started at J.C Donald Company in 2019, Kim has been in the Finance industry for 10 + years. Her primary focus is the day-to-day financial activities. She works closely with the Project Managers to monitor client budgets, invoicing, A/R and A/P functions, and manages the subcontractor and vendor account relationships. Kim is a critical component of the financial success of the company.
